I remember the night vividly. I was sitting alone with a pen and paper, writing out every fear, every doubt, and every worry I carried in my heart. I thought that if I could just put it all on paper, I could release it, make sense of it, and finally be free. When I held the paper over the fire, ready to let it go, I felt it—the enemy trying to define me by the words I had written. The doubts, the insecurities, the feelings of not being enough—they seemed to come alive, whispering lies that I was nothing more than my fears. Overwhelmed, I ran, tears streaming down my face, searching for a place to hide from that weight.
I found myself on a small hill, the sun setting in brilliant shades of gold and pink across the horizon. And there, in the quiet, I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit like never before. A voice whispered to my heart: You are loved. You are worthy. Those words didn’t just comfort me—they changed me. In that moment, I realized that my identity, my purpose, and my value were not defined by my fears, my past, or even my own words—they were defined by God’s love. I experienced a profound sense of peace and clarity, and I knew that my calling was to share that encounter with others.
That encounter planted a vision in my heart: to create a space where others can experience the Holy Spirit as I did, a place where people feel fully seen, fully loved, and fully accepted. I dream of building a residential facility where individuals—particularly teens and young adults facing emotional, mental, or spiritual challenges—can live in a safe and nurturing environment. A place where they can receive holistic care: spiritual guidance, counseling, mentorship, life skills training, and a supportive community that encourages growth, healing, and independence.
In this facility, every detail would be designed to create an atmosphere of hope and restoration. Each room, each activity, each moment would be an opportunity for residents to encounter God’s presence and to understand their own worth. Beyond providing shelter, the facility would foster personal transformation, teaching residents that their identity is not defined by mistakes, trauma, or fear—but by the unshakable truth that they are deeply loved and wholly worthy.
My vision is to cultivate an environment where residents can find healing and guidance, develop resilience, and grow into the people God created them to be. This facility would be a sanctuary of hope, a place where hearts are restored, lives are transformed, and every person who walks through the doors knows they are loved, they are worthy, and they have a purpose. It is a dream born from a personal encounter with the Holy Spirit, and it is a calling I am determined to pursue: to build a home where faith, love, and healing intersect, giving every resident the chance to experience the same life-changing truth that once changed me.
